is finally here!

as an escape, I started a garden. I learned a lot from having to have patience when squirrels dig up your holes to eat the seeds you worked hard to buy and then plant to appreciating every phase of life because I got to experience the beauty every stage had. The first peek out of the ground, new stems and leaves and buds seeming to appear overnight and then finally the first bloom. I got way more than beautiful flowers to fill my vase, I received smiles from people who got them as gifts, resilience in everyway because if this garden can withstand the heavy rains and hottest days, even if there is a starting over or loss because of weeds, beauty still came from it. 

I dedicate this to all women, I hope as you wear these pieces you are reminded to just keep going. I'm rooting for you! (pun is intended) As no seed, leaf, flower are the same so are you, Ìwọ nìkan.
